JUAREZ - A lot of smoke that appears to be coming from Downtown El Paso is really coming from a fire in Juarez.

People can see the smoke throughout the city and at first glance it looks like the smoke is coming from Downtown, but it is not. The smoke is coming from a fire across the border.

Juarez firefighters are battling a fire at the Casino Leonistico (Lions Club Dance Hall ), a 70-year-old building with a lot of history in Juarez.

We've learned firefighters are having a hard time putting it out because the fire hydrants are frozen. No injuries have been reported. We're told the building was closed when the fire broke out. Investigators believe it started in the kitchen.

We will continue to monitor the fire. Check KTSM.com for updates.
