Club Owner Tips Off Investigators About Alleged Drug Dealing
The owner of Club 101 decided to take matters into his own hands after he says teens were being sold ecstasy in in his club.
Alfrank Catucci told the El Paso County Sheriff's Department that his staff also saw people taking ecstasy pills in the club's restrooms.
Strike Team Deputies went undercover to catch suspected ecstasy dealers at an all-ages show Friday night.
The sting resulted in the arrest of 6 people, ranging in age from 16 to 21.
All of the suspects are charged with selling ecstasy.
Deputies say they would have make more arrests, but they exhausted all of their resources during the operation.
Catucci says he wanted to send a message that drug use in Club 101 won't be tolerated.
Catucci adds that it's the first time he has ever had to report drug use in the club.
