Japan's Ginza Tanaka unveils a beer mug made of 30 ounces of gold...

Would beer taste any better out of a 50-thousand dollar mug?

One Japanese gold manufacturer thought so, as it unveiled a beer mug made of 30 ounces of gold Wednesday.

The mug was the centerpiece of Ginza Tanaka's latest gold collection called "Summer Cool."

The collection is and made up of items that are commonly believed in Japan to help beat the summer heat.

It also included a gold wind chime, gold sake glasses and a gold folding fan.
