EL PASO — A driver headed the wrong way on I-10 slammed head-on into a pickup truck.

According to El Paso Police, the driver of a silver vehicle was traveling east on I-10 West between the Chelsea and Geronimo exits, when he slammed into a white pickup truck. 

Another red pickup tried to avoid the first collision and also crashed.

A total of 4 people were taken to the hospital, including the wrong way driver.

Police have not said why the driver was going the wrong way, or if alcohol is a factor.
