300 Soldiers Returning From Iraq Tonight

FORT BLISS -- Family and friends will welcome home around 300 soldiers at Biggs Army Airfield this evening.


The soldiers, from the 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, deployed in November 2009 to Iraq where they spent time advising Iraqi security forces.


The flight is scheduled to land at 6:00 p.m.

Not to mention that if the flight gets postponed because of this story, you are going to have A LOT of angry families!

I can't believe this. KTSM needs to learn proper military protocol when it comes to sensitive information, such as this. OPSEC is in place for a reason. This could be jeopardizing the security of many people. DELETE!
