3 Dead After Accident on I-10E Near Clint

The driver of a white Chevy Tahoe had apparently been driving for about two miles in the wrong direction before hitting the Dodge Charger.
The male driver of the Tahoe died, along with two female passengers in the Charger.
A 22-year-old passenger from the Charger was taken to Del Sol MC in serious condition, while a 3-year-old was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.
The accident was reported around 9:20 P.M. at MM 43.
UPDATE: Our NC9 crew has confirmed that the driver of a white SUV was driving northbound near the Clint exit on I-10, when the driver veered onto the median and hit a Dodge Charger.
The driver of the SUV, who was apparently not wearing a seat belt, died.
Two female passengers in the Charger also died.
Two children-- whose ages are said to be 2 and 14--have been taken to area hospitals.
The accident happened at about 9:20 P.M.
Newschannel 9 has confirmed that three people have died, after a car crash on I-10 near the Clint exit.
Police are closing down eastbound lanes on I-10; if you're heading towards that direction, seek an alternate route.
