21-Year-Old Falls Asleep Behind the Wheel While Car is Still 'Running'

21-year-old Charged With 2nd DWI

EL PASO— A man fell asleep behind the wheel of his running car early Tuesday morning— and was charged with his second DWI.

Isaiah Morales, 21, was charged with his second DWI after El Paso police found Morales at the intersection of Montwood and McRae around 5:00 a.m. Morales was asleep in the driver's seat, with his vehicle in drive. The engine was still running and Morales was intoxicated.

Police said Morales also had a previous conviction for DWI in November of 2009.

Morales was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $750.00.

Why is the guy still driving? At 21 years of age and already his second offense, his license should be revoked and he should do some serious jail time along with manditory alcohol counciling before he kills someone.
