EL PASO- Two seats are up for grabs on the County Commissioners' Court Precinct 1.

Precinct one is the area occupied on the eastside of El Paso. The seat was previously held by Anna Perez since 2009. Now two candidates are hoping to find out tonight that one of them will be her replacement.

Some would argue that the biggest, if not the most important project right now on the eastside is the sports complex.The winner of the November 6, 2012 Election is expected to carry the torch that Commisioner Anna Perez lit for this project to become a top family recreational facility.

Perez is leaving her commissioner seat to be the District Judge in the 41st Judicial District.
