LEBANON, MISSOURI- State and federal health officials are testing a batch of baby formula for possible contamination after a 10-day old infant died in Missouri.
Officials say Avery Cornett was fed powdered formula purchased at a Wal-Mart store in Lebanon, Missouri.
As a precaution, Wal-Mart stopped selling that batch of formula at all its stores nationwide. Tests performed by the maker of the product show no signs of contamination and that company has not issued a recall. The child's parents say they wish they'd had more time with their son.
