Former Illinois Gov. Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison
CHICAGO- Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison today for corruption charges stemming from the alleged sale of Barack Obama's old senate seat.
Before the court took 20-minute recess, Blagojevich told the judge, "I have nobody to blame but myself," reports NBC News. "I'm not blaming anybody. I realize I was mistaken. I realize the things that I thought were permissible were not."
