Series Begins Tonight With New Ban

EL PASO - Tonight music lovers will be at the Chamizal National Memorial Park for the kick-off of the summer outdoor music concert series.

However, they won't be planning to celebrate like many of them have in the past.

Alcohol has been banned, which is new for the City-sponsored annual event.

Park leaders said booze caused too many problems in the past, so they did away with it.

So far the ban has gotten mixed reviews.

So does it have to take boose to stare up a fight. So if someone in front doesn't let that person behind them watch or listen to the concert, would that person have to be under the influence to stir up a fight, of if someone spills a drink behind someone's back, would that person have to be under the influence to start a fight. A child running up and down in front of someone watching the concert and their parents not do anything about it. Would that person have to be under the influence.

Well there you have it El Paso, our wonderful people in the city counsil always trying to find ways to ruin a nice place to have fun. Not that there are alot of fun and exciting places to go here being a big city that it is. I wonder how much more different it would be if they had approved Fiesta Texas here or other events that got shot down by our wonderful people that run this city.
