Road Rage Leads to Beating of 82-Year-Old Man

EL PASO, TEXAS – Police say a case of road rage resulted in the beating of an 82-year-old man in February and the arrest of suspect this week.

Police began an investigation in February of this year after 82-year-old Ricardo Vega was assaulted by 57-year-old James Matsler.

Police say Vega was driving a car and turning into a parking lot to park his vehicle, then was assaulted by Matsler. Matsler allegedly punched and kicked Vega multiple times causing Vega to fall to the ground and curl up to protect his body. While on the ground Vega was hit 4 or 5 more times. Matsler was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on August 16, 2011. His bond was set at: $70,000.00

here is an idea, cuz road rage i get often but i never follow anyone and do anything because i am a respected professional. but i have been followed by others that have had road rage from other drives, i feel like pulling over and just fighting, but ill go one more better, the next time that happens i can just pull a gun out and see what they think about that!!!!
