Man Dies from Injuries in Central El Paso Crash
A man hit by a truck in central El Paso Tuesday night died Wednesday morning from his injuries.
Police say 60-year-old Carlos Molina was probably drunk when he crossed near 100 S. Cotton, against a traffic sign. It happened just after 9:00 p.m.
Police do not think the driver of the truck, 29-year-old Rebecca Gonzalez, was speeding. They also do not attribute the crash on her part to alchohol.
This is the 21st traffic death this year. There were 15 at this time last year. This crash is also the 6th pedestrian death of 2010, compared to one at this time in 2009.
