"I woke up when I heard the alarm. It was very smokey," she said.
It's was a week and a half ago when a fire broke out in the 10,000 block of Forest Ridge in East El Paso. Martinez' six-year-old daughter did not make it.Neither did her boyfriend,Jerry Villar Jr. Altough Villar called 911 for help, she blames him for her daughter's death.
"I lowered her from the window. He didn't help me," she said.

Martinez says she's having a hard time coming to grips with losing her daughter and wants people to know one thing.
"All I want is for people to know see him as a hero, because that, he was not," she said. "He was not a good father. He was not a good man. He did not save my daughter or me. And to me, he killed my other daughter."
