Shocking allegations from a woman who lost her boyfriend and daughter in a tragic fire more than a week ago. She blames her boyfriend for her daughter's death.

"She could have lived, because she was right there next to me," said Martinez.

With tears rolling down her face, and her arms still bandaged from the burns she received, Alicia Mireles Martinez speaks with NewsChannel 9 about the tragic fire that took her daughter's life.

"I woke up when I heard the alarm. It was very smokey," she said.

It's was a week and a half ago when a fire broke out in the 10,000 block of Forest Ridge in East El Paso. Martinez' six-year-old daughter did not make it.Neither did her boyfriend,Jerry Villar Jr. Altough Villar called 911 for help, she blames him for her daughter's death.

"I lowered her from the window. He didn't help me," she said.

Martinez says after she lowered her four-year-old daughter to safety, she turned to get her other daughter, but she was not there.

"To me, he took her, because of where they found them. To me, he is responsible," said Martinez.

Martinez says that day she and Villar had been in a fight. "I told him I was going to leave him. He told me he was going to kill himself," said Martinez.

"From what I've gathered from what my daughter told me, he took the batteries from the fire detector," said Martinez.

Martinez says she's having a hard time coming to grips with losing her daughter and wants people to know one thing.

"All I want is for people to know see him as a hero, because that, he was not," she said. "He was not a good father. He was not a good man. He did not save my daughter or me. And to me, he killed my other daughter."

The cause of the fire has not been determine.

ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT SHARE THE BAD WAY HE USED TO TREAT HER AND HER DAUGHTHERS ARE ABLE TO KNOW WHY SHE IS GIVING THAT KIND OF DECLARATIONS AND TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT THINK THAT SHE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT YOU ALL SHOULD KNOW THAT HE HAD CHARGES FOR VIOLENCE...

I STRONGLY DISAGREE. I AM A MOTHER NO MATTER HOW INJURED I AM AND I LOST MY CHILD I WOULDN'T BE SO CALM AS HER AND SHOW NO EMOTION THIS LADY HAS A TAIL TO STEP ON. DON'T LET HER INTERVIEW FOOL YOU. THE TRUTH WILL REVEAL ITSELF AND YOU MENTION GOD ONLY KNOWS THE TRUTH AND HE WONT HAVE TO STEP UP TO GOD ON ANY OF THIS HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. NOTHING SHE SAYS ADDS UP.FIRST OF ALL DID YOU MISS THAT PART WHERE SHE CONTRADICTED HERSELF? AND HOW IN PERFECT SHAPE THE 3 YEAR OLD IS?

For all the people who are speaking ill of the mother, do not even know they are doing, clearly hurts losing her daughter, can not come to cry and cry than she is with medication to calm down. And only one thing to the ignorant who speak without knowing. God does justice

I do not blame this grieving mother for her anger. Parents should never outlive their children. To lose a child is a tragedy. Especially when it was due to negligence on the behalf of the deceased. It could have been prevented. All of the mothers out there know what I am saying, your trust your child's precious lives to adults who should be responsible. To lose a child under such circumstances is unacceptable.

Im so sorry for your loss, I cant imagine someone doing that to a little girl, over a fight. Im sure he will have to answer to God for what he did, God only knows the truth. My prayers are with your family. One thing I know for sure is that your beautiful angel is in heaven. God bless you and your famliy.
