EL PASO- Three men ripped $5,000 worth of copper wiring from a Westside business, making this the Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
At approximately 11:45 P.M. on Monday, June 20th, 2011, surveillance video at a new day spa that is under construction at 4201 Camelot Heights on the Westside shows a white SUV driving up to the building, and three men getting out and walking around. Shortly afterwards, electricity to the building is cut and approximately $5,000 worth of copper wiring is stolen.
At this time no witnesses have been identified and there is not a good description of the suspects. The only thing known is that they were in the white SUV. However, the building is located in a new commercial area situated just off N. Mesa St. between Executive Center Blvd. and Argonaut St. This area is very highly traveled and investigators believe it is likely that someone may have noticed the suspects or their vehicle during the night.
If you have any information about the identity of the suspects involved, or their vehicle, please call Crime Stoppers immediately at 566-TIPS (566-8477) or on-line at www.crimestoppersofelpaso.org. You will remain anonymous and, if your tip leads to an arrest, you can qualify for a cash reward.
