EL PASO- Voting is one of our most precious rights, but the 10 propositions on the state ballot are so confusing, you may not know what you're voting for or against.
Maybe this will help:
Two of the 10 propositions are of primary interest to El Pasoans.
A “yes” vote on proposition one would give surviving spouses of military veterans a tax break on their homes. Voting “yes” on proposition seven would let El Paso County impose taxes to develop parks and recreational facilities. The other propositions cover everything from water bonds and approving more money for student loans to the development of blighted land and changes to the permanent school fund.
