El Paso – Officers have arrested two Mission Valley teens for breaking into a meat store, stealing a dance CD from a car, and evading police.

Investigators say Roberto Rivera, 17, and Adrian Tarin, 18, approached El Aguila Meat Market, damaged the electrical box, then used large boulders to break off the door handle to the rear door of the business. Rivera and Tarin left the meat market, then broke into a car and stole a dance-mix CD.

As officers approached them, they ran from the officers. Both were placed under arrest after a brief foot pursuit and charged with Attempted Burglary of Building, Criminal Mischief/Impair/Interrupt Public Service (Electrical/telephonic), Burglary of a Vehicle, and Evading Arrest. Both were booked into the El Paso County Jail.
