EL PASO- Two men were arrested Wednesday night after a traffic stop lead officers to the discovery of 1.8 pounds of marijuana.

Hector Diaz, 20, and Daniel Gutierrez, 22, were placed under arrest for possession of marijuana after the pair ran a stop sign while driving.

Police noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, which led to a search of the car and the discovery of the marijuana.
