Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Man with Numerous Warrants
EL PASO- Police have arrested a man with two outstanding warrants for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Aggravated Assault, and Aggravated Assault, and a motion to Revoke for Robbery.
Police say a vehicle was stopped for numerous traffic violations when they smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Police arrested Angel Lopez, 23, as the front seat passenger in the vehicle and as having four outstanding criminal warrants. He was placed under arrest and booked into the El Paso County Jail on the Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Aggravated Assaults, Aggravated Assault, and a Motion to Revoke – Robbery. His bonds totaled $81,000.00.
