Scam Alert: GECU Customers Asked to

EL PASO- GECU members are receiving fraudulent text messages, automated phone calls and emails informing them that their GECU MasterCard credit card or MasterMoney debit card has been blocked.

Members are instructed to call a phone number in Naples, Florida with a 239 area code and provide their card information to reactivate their card.

If you receive this message, do not respond. GECU has sent customers an email advising that this is a scam.

GECU will never contact you asking for your personal information. If you have responded and provided your personal account information, please call SmartCall immediately at 915.778.9221 (toll-free, 1.800.772.4328).
