Try to get on I-10 from Schuster Avenue during rush hour and you'll wait quite a while.  Daily back-ups can cause waits of more than 30 minutes to get onto the highway.

Relief is in sight, though.  A $7-mil TxDOT project will build an overpass, allowing drivers to pass smoothly onto I-10. The project is due to start in December and finish just a few months later.
