A Las Cruces bistro is moving into a bigger location and debuting a new menu. The new St. Clair Winery & Bistro will be able to seat double the amount of guests. We got a sneak peak at the new location, which is set to open one January 26th.

The largest winery in New Mexico, St. Clair Winery, has something else to brag about: its new bistro in Old Mesilla.  "We're just ecstatic that the building, after 14 months of delays, is finally open," said St. Clair Winery & Bistro general manager Zan Steinberg.

St. Clair Winery & Bistro held a special celebration to debut its new location one block away from the old one. "This option came up and we were able to build a gorgeous building that'll seat up to 300 people that has a million dollar view of the Organ Mountains," said Steinberg.

The outside grounds can also accommodate another 200 guests. Steinberg says the new bistro offers another venue in Las Cruces for special events. "This particular property is perfect for us to do events, for weddings, for anniversaries, for large parties, for fundraisers for the community," said Steinberg.

Besides having a new address, their menu, which they worked on for a year is also different. "We have green chiles for everybody. Lamb stew, riesling marinated chicken, pot pie, new salads, new sandwiches, great appetizers, baked brie," said operations manager John Furbush.

You can also try out one of the 42 homegrown New Mexico varieties of wine St. Clair has to offer. ''We offer a unique wine tasting menu where you can pair your wine with different types of food and get a new look at wines. It's not what somebody else tells you is good with wine. It's what you think is good with wine," said St. Clair Winery & Bistro special projects Rebbeca Lescombes.

The new St. Clair Winery and Bistro is located at 1710 Avenida de Mesilla. They're open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. And Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

They're having a grand opening Thursday, the 26th of next week through Saturday, the 28th. For more information, visit http://www.stclairwinery.com/bistros/las-cruces/
