UTEP students may strike gold this coming semester at the University Bookstore.
The bookstore will offer a textbook rental program for the first time in school history. The program will include about 30% of the store's stock and will allow miners to save at least half on their textbook cost for the semester.
"The student will get the books now...between now and the beginning of classes and they will retain their books throughout the semester and they will return them week after finals," explained Fernando Padula, with University Bookstore.
Padula encourages students to begin the process by logging onto rent-a-text-dot.com.
