SUNLAND PARK, NM- A motorcyclist was airlifted to UMC in El Paso after an accident left him with life-threatening injuries.

The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. Friday on McNutt Road in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

The motorcyclist is a 41-year-old male from Illinois.

NM State police say the motorcyclist has the right of way when an Expedition collided with the bike. The male driver of the Expedition will be cited, according to police.
