Man Clocked Speeding At 104 MPH Caught With Cocaine

EL PASO – A man was found allegedly possessing 26 baggies of cocaine after police pulled him over for speeding at 104 mph on I-10 around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.
A police officer attempted to stop 31-year-old Armando Salinas for speeding when he exited Sunland Park Drive and began to flee from the officer. Salinas was stopped near the Cromo intersection and arrested for evading the traffic stop.
Upon an investigation, the officer discovered a cloth zipper bag down the front of his pants that contained the cocaine baggies totaling 17 grams of cocaine. Salinas was also charged with the manufacure/delivery of cocaine and booked into the El Paso County Jail.
