LAS CRUCES – Las Cruces Public Schools is asking the public to donate school supplies to help needy students prepare for classes.
The LCPS Title I program has provided school supplies to about 200 needy students to date and hopes to provide them to at least 200 more students before the start of the regular school year on August 15, 2011.

Donations of all kinds of school supplies are welcome. There is now a particular need for tabbed dividers and pocket folders.

Donated school supplies can be dropped off at the superintendent’s office, LCPS Administration Building, 505 S. Main St., Loretto Towne Centre, Suite 249.
