LAS CRUCES- The Las Cruces Police Department will deploy its Mobile Operations Center Thursday morning near the university.

The tour is the beginning of a four-day visit to east University Avenue where residents from surrounding neighborhoods can meet with officers and share concerns about public safety.

The Mobile Operations Center will be stationed on the corner of University Avenue and Don Roser Drive, just across the street from the Pic Quik store, from 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Las Cruces residents who live in surrounding neighborhoods are invited to stop by the MOC at any time during the four days to visit with officers, share their ideas for a safer community and discuss any law enforcement concerns they may have.

No appointment is necessary to visit with an officer at the Mobile Operations Center.
