LAS CRUCES – Employees of Texas Roadhouse of Las Cruces delivered school supplies to LCPS today to be given to economically disadvantaged students across the school district.

Texas Roadhouse offered special incentives to customers who donated school supplies, and restaurant employees manned a donation table outside Staples office supplies Saturday and Sunday morning during the August tax-free weekend, said Las Cruces Texas Roadhouse Marketing Director Olivia Seppi.

Joining Seppi to deliver the donated school supplies were server Katrina Chip, floor manager Justin Knecht, assistant kitchen manager Joe Guerrero and Alice Lopez, wife of restaurant Managing Partner Steve Lopez.

“We are very grateful for the support of Texas Roadhouse and its customers for our students in need,” said Superintendent Stan Rounds.
