LAS CRUCES- The Keep Las Cruces Beautiful and New Mexico Clean and Beautiful programs will host the 17th annual Toss No Mas campaign on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Hundreds of volunteers are asked to help collect litter at parks, schools, streets and business properties from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 15. Toss No Mas volunteers will then be treated to a free lunch hosted by International House of Pancakes.

Last year, 532 volunteers collected more than seven tons of litter during the annual event. The goal this year is to collect at least 10 tons of litter. Individual volunteers and groups are encouraged to register early for the Toss No Mas campaign, which is a great opportunity for organizations to show their pride in Las Cruces.

To volunteer, call Craig Fenske at (575) 528-4723 or click on the “Keep Las Cruces Beautiful” link at www.CLCPD.com

The Toss No Mas campaign is organized locally by Keep Las Cruces Beautiful, a program of the Las Cruces Police Department’s Codes Enforcement Division.
