Las Cruces Man Arrested After Being Placed On Most Wanted List

Las Cruces- A man wanted for kidnapping , criminal sexual penetration, and several other charges was arrested last night in Las Cruces after less than 24 hours on the Wanted list.

The United States Marshals Service arrested 23-year-old Jesus Loya on May 19. Loya was wanted out of Dona Ana County for Kidnapping, Criminal Sexual Penetration, Aggravated Battery against Household Member, Aggravated Assault against Household Member, Bribery or Intimidation of a Witness, and Misdemeanor Battery on a Household Member.


Loya is a confirmed Sureño 13 gang member with an extensive criminal record and was added to the New Mexico Most Wanted list as a Most Wanted Gang Offender only hours before his arrest.

Investigators developed information that led them to a house in Vado, NM. Loya was placed under arrest and transported back to Dona Ana County Detention Center in Las Cruces, NM.
