Las Cruces Kicks off "Coats for Kids" Donation Program

LAS CRUCES – Donations of coats and money to buy coats are now being accepted as the 17th Annual US Bank Coats for Kids program kicks off.

The parents of Las Cruces children ages birth to fifth grade can register their children to receive a free coat through Friday, October 21 at their child’s school.


Coats may be dropped off at the following locations:
• All Comet Cleaners locations: 2001 E. Lohman Ave. (in Arroyo Plaza), 2497 N. Main St. (across from Albertson’s) and 555 Utah St., Suite A (Utah at El Paseo, behind Village Inn.) Visit http://cometcleanerslc.com for a map.
 

• 101 Gold (KVLC Radio, 101.1 FM) offices: 101 Perkins Drive.


Send cash donations to Coats for Kids, c/o US Bank, 277 E. Amador Ave., Las Cruces, N.M. 88001. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

US Bank, together with the Community Action Agency of Southern New Mexico, Comet Cleaners and 101 Gold Radio, has given out more than 25,000 coats to needy children in the past 16 years. This year the need is greater than ever. Please check your closets for any unused or un-needed coats to donate to this most worthwhile cause
