Las Cruces Farmers & Crafts Market Celebrates Holidays with Festivities
LAS CRUCES- There is one more opportunity to help the Las Cruces Farmers & Crafts Market fill the need for non-perishable food items this year.
Stop by the market on Saturday, December 24th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to drop food items into donation bins located on Las Cruces Avenue. Donations will go to the Roadrunner Food Bank, which feeds nearly 40,000 individuals across New Mexico.
Saturday will also be your last opportunity to bring children to visit Santa, who has made special arrangements to visit downtown Las Cruces for last-minute requests. Santa will be available for photos, and there will be festive carols sung by Las Cruces High School’s Swing Ensemble. The market will also be offering special holiday decorating craft classes and fun scavenger hunts. At 10 a.m., our event emcee’s will begin handing out 50 “America’s Favorite Farmers Market” market tote bags.
On Saturday, January 7th, the market will continue to hand out the tote bags to the public at 1 p.m. as they celebrate New Mexico’s 100 years during the Centennial parade in downtown. There will be special performances by local artists at the market.
