EL PASO- All roads can be dangerous, but a new study shows I-10 had more car crashes involving teen drivers than any other roadway in El Paso.

From 2006 to 2010, there were over 1,200 crashes involving drivers ages 15-19 on I-10 in the El Paso area.

The time between Memorial Day and Labor Day is known as the "100 Deadliest Days" because more teens die in vehicle accidents during this period than any other.

An Allstate Foundation study shows almost 90 percent of teens surveyed said their parents are the biggest influencers on their driving habits, so talking to your teen driver is crucial. As well as reminding them not to text and drive.

Parents can start the conversation with teens about the importance of safe driving, set guidelines and discuss consequences by downloading a parent-teen driver contract at ProtectTeenDrivers.com.
