High CO levels close Munson Center
LAS CRUCES — For the second time this week, the Munson Center was closed due to the presence of carbon monoxide in the building, building officials said.
The Las Cruces fire marshal ordered the building closed until the source of the gas is located and remedied.
Dial-a-Ride patrons who normally dine at the center will be transported to the Eastside Center, 310 N. Tornillo St.
Patrons who drive themselves will be served at either the Benavidez Center, 1045 McClure Rd. or the Eastside Center.
Regularly scheduled Enhance Fitness and Tai Chi classes will be held at Eastside Center. All other activities such as Mah Jongg, card playing, pool playing, quilting and art classes will be suspended unless arrangements are made with senior programs staff.
