Proceeds From Calendar to Help Sandy Victims, LGBT Charities

Twelve gentlemen are showing some skin to benefit both the gay community and victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The "Fuerte Men" calendar is sold online, and features six gay and six straight men.
Part of the sales this week are going to Hurricane Sandy victims. From now on though proceeds will go to El Paso area LGBT charities.

The publisher says he hopes to make a difference.

Honestly I wanted to be a role model for other gay and lesbians. I know that here in El Paso you really don't see the individuals out there, for whatever reason," said calendar organizer Sidney Alvarez.

The funds will be used for anti-bullying initiatives as well as HIV-AIDS prevention education.
