Four Men Arrested For Home Burglaries In Las Cruces

Four arrests tonight in a string of home burglaries in Las Cruces. Two teens, Gabriel Polanco and Albert Terrazas, have been arrested for breaking into two homes. Police say in both cases, the teens stole laptop computers. Investigators say they were caught as they were trying to break into another home.

Police have also arrested two men for a separate pair of home burglaries. William Estrada, of Brazito New Mexico, and Albert Wall, of Sunland Park, are accused of kicking in the door of a home on Longbow Loop, then taking off when they realized the homeowner was there. Investigators say wall also burglarized another home the same day.

Since April, Las Cruces Police have taken more than 50 reports of home burglaries where someone kicked in the front door during the day.
