Fort Bliss Soldiers to Receive Thousands of Girl Scout Cookies

FORT BLISS- Fort Bliss officials will receive thousands of cookies from the Girl Scouts Gift of Caring program this Thursday.

The Girl Scouts of the Rio Grande Council has facilitated the Gift of Caring program to Fort Bliss Soldiers and other members of the military for 10 years. During the annual cookie sales, Girl Scouts ask customers to purchase a box of cookies for Soldiers.

The Girl Scouts will present approximately 1500 cases of cookies for Soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan
