Deputies Search for Two Men for Aggravated Robbery

EL PASO- Deputies are searching for two men involved in the stabbing and robbery of an El Paso man.

Last week, deputies responded to a call involving a man who was stabbed by five suspects at his home. The victim said five people pulled up in a car at his Canutillo home and punched and stabbed him. The victim also said one of the suspects placed a knife to his throat and threatened him.

Another suspect then took the car keys out of his pocket, opened the trunk of the victim’s car, and attempted to force the victim into the trunk. Victim resisted and the subject drove off in the Cadillac. The other subjects fled the scene in the vehicle they arrived in, unknown description and direction of travel.

The victim told deputies that one of the men was Omar Rodriguez, 28. Rodriguez was last known to reside in the Canutillo, Texas area. He is 5’10”, 150 pounds, has a bald head and brown eye. Rodriguez may be driving a grey in color Ford Focus.

Deputies are also searching for Isaac Sapien, 23, in connection with this case. He is 5’7”, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Deputies believe he lives in the Canutillo area. 

Both men are wanted by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the Aggravated Robbery that occurred early morning in Canutillo, TX. Rodriguez is believed to be a Barrio Azteca Gang Member and should be considered armed and dangerous.
