Crime of the Week: Suspects Rob Convenience Stores at Gunpoint
EL PASO- A man has been involved in several robberies at convenience stores in the central part of town, making this the Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
Early in the morning of June 6, a man walked into the Good Times convenience store to buy beer. When told by employees that beer was no longer being sold, the man got on his cell phone and began looking out the front door as he talked. After demanding that the employees get into the bathroom, the man stole items from the store.
On July 16, the same man entered a store at 4421 Montana with another man and began screaming at employees to “get on the ground or I will shoot you.” The two subjects then took personal property from the victims and stole cash and merchandise from the store.
*Note the tattoo on the second suspect's arm.
The subjects used three vehicles in the three robberies: a white 2008-2012 Toyota Scion XB with a dark stripe, a dark green or black 2000-2003 Nissan Maxima, and a red Ford Explorer Sport Trac with black rims.
