CLUCK: Citizens for Legal Urban Chicken Keeping

Some people in Las Cruces think it's time to change the rules about chickens. They'd like to have chickens on their property "inside" the city limits. Jon Simmons is heading up a group called CLUCK; citizens for legal urban chicken keeping. He wants city residents to be allowed to keep hens, not roosters inside city limits. He says they make fine neighbors if the owners are responsible. The Las Cruces city council will take up the issue on Monday.
