EL PASO- It takes about 25 minutes to walk between El Paso’s downtown art district and Union Plaza.

That makes it difficult for visitors to enjoy everything they'd like to see in one trip. The city is trying to cut that walk time to just five minutes and link the two districts together by a walkway. That should give museums and businesses more visibility and more business.

"You’re opening up more connectivity to get two very busy areas an artery that will hopefully bring people back and forth," says Ben Fyffe, Museums and Cultural Affairs.

There's a public workshop this Saturday at 6 p.m. At the creative kids space where you can give your opinion on the new downtown pathway.
