EL PASO- The blood supply in our area has is critically low.

United Blood Services of El Paso say there is a shortage of blood, especially A+ and O+ blood types.
They need everyone’s help to maintain a steady supply of blood at local hospitals.

"We are short. It's not going to be enough. We're encouraging all the donors to donate every day, to go to our fixed-sites, to go to our blood drives, and support us," says Mary Arlene G. Bullitt, Director of Center Operations.

UBS hopes to collect nearly 300 to 400 units this weekend in the battle of the badges blood drive at Cielo Vista Mall this weekend.
