Arrest Made in Homicide of Las Cruces Realtor

DONA ANA COUNTY- Investigators have made an arrest following the discovery of Jack L. Hadley’s body on Sept. 23, 2011.

According to investigators, Mario A. Mendez, 25, has been booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center, charged with one count of capital murder, one count of first degree kidnapping, aggravated burglary with a deadly weapon, arson, tampering with evidence, larceny, and disposing of stolen property. Judge Richard Silva has ordered Mendez to be held without bond.

Jack Hadley was found dead inside his home in the 5600 block of Camino Esdcondida in southeast Las Cruces, after Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the residence on a fire call.
