Louisiana Tech scored 28 points off five turnovers UTEP and scored on nine of 13 possessions in handing the Miners a 55-3 loss in their Conference USA opener on Saturday at Joe Aillet Stadium.

The New Mexico State Aggies men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the Rim Rock Farm Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5 in Lawrence, Kan. The women’s team finished third overall and the men finished fifth.

Trojans improve to 5-1 with 44-24 win vs Manzano

The Mayfield Trojans defeated Manzano, 44-24 at the Field of Dreams Saturday afternoon.  Mayfield is coming off a tough 1-point loss to Eldorado last weekend.  Mayfield will play Oñate Friday, October 10 at the Field of Dreams.

Miners cross country places 4th at Chili Pepper

The men’s and women’s cross country team competed in the Chile Pepper Festival Saturday morning. The men’s team finished fourth overall, and the women’s team finished 16th.
