The UTEP men’s golf team tied for fifth place at the John Burns Intercollegiate in Lihue, Hawaii.
The Miners shot 580 (292-288) over 36 holes. The final round on Friday was cancelled due to inclement weather.
After starting the season with 10 home games, NM State sets out on the road for 22 straight, beginning with the UTEP Invitational Feb. 21-13. The Aggies play five games on the weekend starting with Incarnate Word at 10 a.m.
Softball fans will finally get an opportunity to see UTEP softball games in the Sun City. The Miners (1-9) will host the UTEP Invitational (Feb. 21-23) at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex. All games will be free this weekend.
