Monday, June 18, 2007 - It's typical for teens to stay up late on weekenights, then try to compensate on the weekends.

But researchers at Brown University say this kind of disruption to the teens' system can mean poor performance when they try to get back on schedule.

Sleep experts say teens should get up at the same time every morning, stay away from caffeine after lunch and avoid after-school naps.
