The incurable disease causes progressive scarring in the lungs, and usually requires a lung transplant. When treated with Viagra for three months, more than half of the study participants improved their walking distance by at least 20 percent.
A review of research finds weight loss surgery could lead to memory and coordination problems in some people. The condition affects the brain and nervous system. It occurs when the body doesn't get enough vitamin B-1. The syndrome occurs most often in patients who experienced a lot of vomiting post-surgery, but can be treated with supplements.
