Sunday, March 25, 2007 - If you want to enjoy the picture size and detail of a big screen TV, but can't afford one or don't have the room, let me suggest a projector instead.  Epson's Powerlite S4 projector leads a double life.  You can plug in your laptop and use the S4 for presentations at work or school.  Or you can set it up at home with a portable DVD player and screen and watch your favorite movies.

The S4 uses 3LCD technology for a bright image, whether the room is dark or you have a couple of lights on.  This is one of the easiest projectors to set up that I've ever seen.  It's literally ready to go when you take it out of the box. 

We teamed up the S4 with the Duet portable screen that provides for both standard and widescreen viewing.  It too was easy to set up.

The newest cameras and accessories were unveiled in Las Vegas earlier this month at the Photo Marketing Association show, or PMA.  Erin Manning, a veteran photographer who hosts "The Whole Picture" on the DIY network, showed me one of the cooler products that was introduced at the show...Sony's new DSC W-200 digital camera.
