HOW TO WIN:

There are two ways to win:

Watch NewsChannel 9 Midday on Friday, April 27th and listen for Felipa's cue to call the NewsChannel 9 contest line at 880-9NC9 (9629) for your chance to win!  Callers #9 and #10 will win. Contestants may also register online via the 'Contest' page at www.ktsm.com. Three submissions entered via www.ktsm.com will be randomly selected on Friday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m. Winners will be notified by telephone that same day. 

Deadline to register online is Friday, April 27th at 12:30 p.m. Limit one (1) online entry per household. 

PRIZE:

Each prize pack will consist of a family four-pack that includes four (4) P.O.P. (Pay One Price) unlimited ride tickets to Western Playland and a meet and greet with Spider Man.That's right! Spider Man will be at Western Playland before Spider Man 3 even hits the movie theatres! Parents and kids will have a chance to take pictures and even get Spider Man's autograph!

Park tickets can only be redeemed on Sunday, April 29, 2007. 

Five (5) prize packs will be awarded to each of five (5) winners. Two (2) winners will be selected by calling the NewsChannel 9 contest line at 880-9NC9. Callers #9 and #10 win a prize pack. Three (3) winners will be randomly selected from all contest registrations submitted online.

ELIGIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS

Participants and winner(s) must reside within the station's Designated Market Area (DMA) as defined by Nielsen Media Research and must be at least 18 years old. No minors are allowed to participate. Employees of the station, CommCorp, Western Playland Amusement Park, this contest's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws" or by current or past marriage(s), remarrage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.

PUBLICITY

By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant the station exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use.  

RELEASE

By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the station, its employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss, which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the contest, or from the use of any prize.

DECISIONS

We reserve the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. Station reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner's prize in its sole discretion. Station will resolve any disputes or ambiguities concerning the rules and station's decisions concerning such disputes shall be final.

PRIZE REDEMPTION

Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign a release form to claim the prize. All winners must report to the participating station to fill out of all federal and state forms and an affidavit of release. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize. Winners must present a picture ID, preferably a Texas driver’s license, with their full name, current address and date of birth. The winner must also provide his/her social security number and home telephone number. It is the sole responsibility of participants to provide us with a valid and correct mailing address. The winner must appear in person to claim his/her prize. Relatives, friends, etc. will not be allowed to show verification for the winner. The management of KTSM TV reserves the right to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. No purchase necessary to participate or win. Station may substitute prizes of equivalent value, amend the rules or discontinue the contest at any time as announced. Written copies of these rules are available at the station during normal business hours.
