KTSM-TV, El Paso’s NBC affiliate, is looking for a part-time Assignments Editor. Candidates will be responsible for handling logistics of TV news crews, monitoring scanners, helping crews develop stories and story ideas. Must have experience shooting and editing news video. Must be attentive, decisive, aggressive, well organized, and get along well with people. Must have good technical and operational skills relating to TV newsgathering and research. Bilingual Spanish-English a plus.

College degree in Broadcast communication or journalism emphasis preferred. Minimum of 1 – 2 years prior broadcast newsroom experience preferred.
