Texas Governor Rick Perry has mis-characterized the bombings in Juarez, referring to them twice now as "bombs going off in El Paso".

Here is what Perry said while speaking in Laredo about border violence.

"When the Governor candidate of Tamaulipas is assassinated across the border, when a car bomb goes off in El Paso and when we have intersections blocked in Nuevo Laredo and gun battles raging, there's a problem."

Perry was likely referring to the car bomb that went off in Juarez two weeks ago. He also referred to those bombs going off on the streets of El Paso during an interview with Fox News.

Welcome to Cuidad El Paso, the most northern city of mexico. Thats what our elected officials obviously want this city to be.

The city to where you can't even get a job at McD's unless you know spanish. The city that is trying to get the street lights to be just like mexico. Theres already a pilot program taking place in the NE. The place i see more mexico flags being flown then our own.

So i can see how the confusion of our city being Juarez could take place.

This guy is a clown! its all about him trying to get more federal dollars. Its sad he has to add to the perception that the violence is now in El Paso:(
